Fire brigade bosses brought in the "ghostbuster" after reports of a phantom monk terrorising crews at Dalkeith fire station, which is built on the site of a ruined abbey where ghost sightings have been reported since the 18th century.
A banishment ceremony was carried out by The Spiritualists’ Trust after firefighters complained of strange voices, eerie screams and loud bangs in the middle of the night.
